The Disney Connection
The most striking thing about Briar Rose is the architecture. The main tasting room is housed in a life-size replica of Snow White’s Cottage. The property was originally built in the 1970s by Beldon Fields, a Disney Imagineer who worked on the original Fantasyland and Toon Town at Disneyland. He built the cottage for his wife, handcrafted with the same whimsical, “curved” lines and thatched-roof style seen in the parks. Current owners Les and Dorian Linkogle have preserved every detail—you can even find “hidden” details in the plaster and gnomes tucked away in the gardens.
